Our 2008 shows took a different form as we did not put on a musical this year. This was in part due to the opportunity that arose to sing with Graham Kendrick and his band which was scheduled for the start of December 2008. Due to the tight timescale between our usual show dates at the beginning of October, it was felt that there was insufficient time to allow those who wanted to sing with Graham the opportunity to be able to learn the songs in time. We therefore put on "The September Showstopper", which we combined with a fish and chip supper. Excepts of six musicals were performed, some of which we'd done before ("My Fair Lady", "Guys and Dolls" and "Godspell") and some which were brand new - "Blood Brothers", "Chicago" and "Sweet Charity".
